One of my favorites!

The first apricots are here and it means time for one of my favorite almost summer cakes. We’ll have slices all weekend along with some other exciting fruit treats and Mother Tongue Coffee.

Next weekend we’ll have Blenheim Apricot jam ready and we’ll also have whole apricot cakes available to reserve. So think of this weekend as an apricot sneak preview.

P.S. Come by The Kebabery this Sunday night for dinner and Kathleen Henderson’s art opening with drawings for sale and proceeds going to an underground school for girls in Afghanistan. I’ll be there too selling apricot cake slices from 5-7. Maybe cookies too. We’ll see!
