I’m hoping a little cake might cheer you up. This cake is light enough to straddle these days that are hot but well, it’s also October. This Monday I’ll have pear cake slices for pick-up at The Kebabery.

Walnut chiffon cake layered with Warren pear jam, black tea pastry cream and topped with creme fraiche whipped cream.

Order on The Kebabery website for pick-up from 5-6 pm, or you can get your cake fancy and have it delivered with your dinner.
